Beginning on February 17, 2026, artists who create two-dimensional artworks:
— Can register up to 10 UNpublished works on ONE application for ONE fee.
— Can register up to 20 published works on ONE application for ONE fee.
Until then, unpublished and published works could only be registered one at a time, each requiring a separate filing fee.
Remember, that a sale of an artwork means it has been published, so make sure you file an application for registration of copyright for your works — within 90 days after they have been published regardless of whether or not you filed an application as an UNpublished artwork or not.
